Lead AWS Cloud Engineer
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Lead AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and lead the delivery of secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on AWS expertise with technical leadership, architecture skills, automation, DevOps practices, and the ability to mentor engineers and collaborate with application, security, networking, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade AWS cloud architectures.
- Design highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient AWS infrastructure.
- Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and reusable patterns.
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
- Design and manage AWS services including:
- VPC, EC2, EKS/ECS, Lambda
- S3, EBS, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB
- IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager
- Route 53, CloudFront, API Gateway
- CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS native services.
- Implement cloud security, identity and access management, encryption, network security
