Role Overview
We are seeking powerhouse Data Analytics Mentors who don't just know the tools, but live and breathe the data lifecycle. As a mentor at you won't just be lecturing; you will be bridging the gap between academic theory and high-level industry execution.
The ideal candidate is a "full-stack" analyst—someone who can pivot from complex SQL joins and Python automation to creating executive-level stories in Power BI, all while integrating the latest Generative AI workflows.
Core Competencies & Requirements
Category
Required Expertise
Advanced Excel
Mastery of Power Query (M), Power Pivot (DAX), complex nested formulas, and dynamic array functions. Ability to build robust, automated financial or operational models.
SQL Mastery
Expert-level proficiency in writing optimized queries, including CTEs, Window Functions, stored procedures, and database normalization at enterprise scale.
Power BI
Deep expertise in DAX for complex measures, UI/UX best practices for dashboard design, and Power BI Service management (Workspaces, RLS).
Python for Data
Proficiency in Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn for automation, data cleaning, and Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).
Statistics & GenAI
Strong foundation in Descriptive Statistics (variance, standard deviation, distributions) and practical application of LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) for code debugging and SQL generation.
Copilot application in Excel and Power BI
GenAI driven ETL operations
Prompt Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor & Lead: Conduct high-energy, hands-on sessions that focus on "learning by doing."
- Project Supervision: Guide students through real-world capstone projects, from data ingestion to final presentation.
- Curriculum Refinement: Provide feedback on course materials to ensure they remain aligned with current industry standards.
- Code & Logic Review: Perform deep-dive reviews of student work, providing constructive, industry-grade feedback.
Candidate Profile
- The Translator: You can take a complex concept like Recursive CTEs and explain it to a beginner with absolute clarity.
- The Practitioner: Minimum 5 years of experience working in data-heavy roles (Data Analyst, BI Developer, or Data Scientist).
- The AI-Advocate: You use GenAI as a force multiplier and can teach students to do the same responsibly.
