Axiaor is building Intelligent Commerce Infrastructure — an AI-native foundation that enables systems to understand content, products, commerce, and human intent, and execute commerce when intent emerges.
We are building the intelligence architecture, Commerce Knowledge Layer, Intelligent Capsules, agents, APIs, and applications that will power the next generation of commerce.
The Role
We are looking for a Founding Principal AI Engineer to help build the intelligence foundation of Axiaor.
You will work closely with the Founding Systems Architect and CEO, turning the company's AI architecture and research direction into production systems.
This is a 0→1 founding role. You will have significant ownership over the technology we build.
What You Will Own
- Intelligence Architecture — design and build the systems that allow Axiaor to understand context, commerce, products, content, and intent.
- Training & Inference Infrastructure — build model training, evaluation, inference, serving, and optimization infrastructure.
- Intelligence APIs — deploy intelligence capabilities through reliable APIs that can power Capsules, agents, enterprise systems, and applications.
- Commerce Knowledge Layer — build the knowledge infrastructure connecting products, brands, content, commercial relationships, attributes, and context.
- Agents & Applications — build intelligent agents and applications on top of Axiaor's underlying intelligence infrastructure.
What We're Looking For
- Deep experience in AI/ML systems and production engineering
- Strong understanding of LLMs, model training, inference, evaluation, and AI orchestration
- Experience building AI systems from the ground up
- Strong software engineering ability in languages such as Python, Rust, C++, or similar
- Experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, data systems, or high-scale model serving
- Ability to move between research, architecture, and production
- Strong technical judgment and the ability to operate independently
