You Are:
UST is searching for a strong Business Analyst with hands-on data and analytics capabilities to support the team. The role requires someone who can work closely with business stakeholders, understand and analyze business requirements, independently research and investigate data, and coordinate effectively with the offshore delivery team.
The opportunity:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business needs, requirements, issues, and analytical use cases
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and data requirements for the delivery team
- Coordinate effectively with the offshore team and support them with requirement clarification and functional guidance
- Independently research, investigate, and analyze data to answer business questions and validate requirements
- Perform hands-on data analysis using Snowflake and SQL
- Understand data relationships, identify data issues/gaps, and support the team in determining appropriate solutions
- Work across business and technical teams and act as a bridge between stakeholders and the offshore delivery team
- Take ownership of analysis and follow-through rather than depending entirely on engineering resources for data investigation
- Leverage AI tools, where appropriate, to improve analysis, research, and delivery productivity

What you need:
- Strong Business Analysis capabilities
- Strong requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Hands-on SQL experience
- Working knowledge/experience with Snowflake
- Ability to independently research and analyze data
- Experience coordinating with distributed/offshore delivery teams
- Ability to communicate effectively between business and technical stakeholders
- Ability to work with limited supervision and take ownership of assigned areas
- Preferred / Added Advantage:
- Experience with AI tools or AI-enabled solutions for analysis and productivity
- Experience working in data and analytics programs
- Understanding of financial/data domains such as valuations, forecasting, or finance
- Ability to quickly understand existing business processes, datasets, and applications
Benefits
