About the Role
We are seeking a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to help accelerate the development and productionization of enterprise AI solutions within our Commercial Data & Analytics platform.
This is a highly hands-on engineering role focused on building AI-powered applications, semantic data models, scalable data pipelines, and Generative AI solutions using Snowflake, Python, SQL, LLMs, and Agentic AI technologies.
The ideal candidate is an experienced AI/Data Engineer who can quickly contribute to multiple high-priority AI initiatives and take solutions from development through production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-powered applications using Snowflake Cortex, LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI frameworks.
- Build and optimize semantic data models and AI-ready datasets across structured and unstructured data.
- Develop scalable data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and refresh pipelines.
- Integrate clinical, commercial, and external data sources into enterprise AI workflows.
- Develop LLM-based applications using prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, and workflow orchestration.
- Optimize Snowflake workloads, queries, and data processing for performance and scalability.
- Support testing, deployment, monitoring, and operationalization of AI solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, analytics teams, and business stakeholders.
- Develop maintainable, production-ready solutions following enterprise engineering standards.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, Snowpark, and SQL.
- Strong Python programming experience.
- Proven experience developing Generative AI / LLM applications.
- Hands-on experience with RAG, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, and Agentic AI workflows.
- Experience designing semantic data models and enterprise-scale data pipelines.
- Experience taking AI/data solutions from development through production deployment.
- Strong understanding of data engineering, AI application architecture, and enterprise data platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex, including Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Cortex Complete, Cortex Intelligence, or Cortex Agents.
- Experience working with healthcare or life sciences data.
- Experience with pharmaceutical commercial analytics.
- Experience with clinical trials, claims data, or clinical datasets.
- Knowledge of the OMOP Data Model.
- Experience integrating structured and unstructured enterprise data for AI applications.
