A growing global fintech company is seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Manager to join its Finance team. This role will support financial reporting, regulatory submissions, accounting operations, reconciliations, and process improvement.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, treasury, or financial reporting.
- Required: Experience within a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) or Broker/Dealer (Client).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, processes, and controls.
- Experience with enterprise accounting systems; NetSuite preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and the month-end close process.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and regulatory submissions.
- Manage reconciliations between accounting, back-office systems, and source documents.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and breaks in a timely manner.
- Maintain and improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls.
- Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
- Research and implement new accounting policies and requirements.
- Prepare routine accounting entries and support NetSuite cleanup and maintenance.
- Partner with the CFO and Finance team on financial reporting and operations.
