Following the continued success of our Bray office, we're now opening a brand new office in Dublin City, and we're looking for a Principal Consultant to be part of it from the ground floor. This is a genuine opportunity to join at a senior level, with real scope to lead and build a team alongside both current and new colleagues.
The Role
Reporting directly into our Directors, some of Ireland's biggest billers, you'll play a pivotal role in resourcing candidates for our clients and developing new client relationships. You'll grow your network across the tech space (perm and contract), stay ahead of market trends, and think creatively about sourcing strategy, backed by the best tech tools available to maximise your efficiency.
This is a rare chance to join a new office while being backed by an already successful, rapidly growing global business. You'll also develop your mentoring and leadership skills early, supporting junior colleagues with their day-to-day recruitment as the team grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing accounts into key, long-term client relationships
- Sourcing and matching top tech candidates to client requirements
- Headhunting and networking via LinkedIn, GitHub and Stack Overflow
- Writing and posting job adverts
- Telephone screening candidates for suitability
- Arranging and managing the interview process end-to-end
- Making offers and handling rejections professionally
- Collating references and supporting documentation
- Building a personal brand across social media
- Staying current on tech industry trends
- Using our internal tech stack (SourceWhale, LinkedHelper, Paiger) to work smarter
- Arranging and attending client meetings to explore new opportunities
- Negotiating fees and terms of engagement
- Managing and supporting junior colleagues day to day
