We are currently seeking a Junior Agile Project Manager to join a well-established organisation within the financial services sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with early experience in Agile delivery, project coordination or Scrum environments who is looking to develop their career within technology project management. Working alongside Product Owners, technical teams and business stakeholders, you will support the delivery of technology and digital initiatives while helping teams maintain effective Agile ways of working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
- Assist with the coordination and delivery of technology initiatives.
- Track sprint progress, actions, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Help identify and escalate delivery blockers.
- Maintain project documentation, delivery plans and status reports.
- Support backlog tracking, release planning and delivery forecasting.
- Provide clear updates to project stakeholders and PMO.
- Work closely with business and technology teams to ensure priorities remain aligned.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Agile delivery practices.
Skills & Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, technology delivery or an Agile environment.
- Some practical exposure to Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Experience working with business and technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
- An interest in technology delivery and Agile project management.
Experience within financial services, exposure to cloud technologies, or an Agile/Scrum certification would be advantageous but is not essential.
