Data Analyst – External Workforce Program (Contract)

Looking for a data detective who thrives on precision, reconciliation, and cleaning up complex, multi-system datasets? We're hiring a Data Analyst to power a high-visibility external workforce program for a leading education industry client.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain the master external workforce dataset by pulling together data from badging/security, VMS, contracts, and ERP/AP systems
- Reconcile worker-level data across multiple systems and validate required fields
- Standardize supplier names, worker identities, and contract references
- Dig into contract PDFs to extract key commercial and workforce data
- Align POs and invoices to individual workers to support spend analysis
- Flag data gaps, inconsistencies, and anomalies before they become problems
- Partner with Procurement, AP, IT, and business stakeholders to keep data accurate
- Present weekly findings, risks, and progress to the program lead
- Support contractor compliance tracking via SmartSheet
What You Bring
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, reconciliation, or a related analytical role
- Comfort working across ERP systems (Oracle a plus), VMS platforms, and procurement data
- Advanced Excel skills — lookups, pivot tables, data cleansing and matching
- Sharp attention to detail and comfort managing large, messy datasets with accuracy
- Background in procurement, finance, or P2P environments (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience coordinating projects or workstreams
