Job Overview:
This entry-level role involves gathering and analyzing customer calls and various computer data to determine the location and cause of power outages. The Operations Analyst will efficiently dispatch first response personnel and repair crews to provide quick and logical responses to outages and emergency situations. Additional responsibilities include performing callouts in ARCOS for service restoration, emergencies, planned overtime, and fill-shifts. This is a fully onsite position requiring local candidates only, with a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Handle multiple tasks from start to finish, prioritizing and managing constantly changing priority levels.
- Work under pressure and make well-thought-out decisions.
- Analyze large subsets of data from multiple information sources and create appropriate action plans.
- Provide strong customer service support to internal and external clients.
- Dispatch first response personnel and repair crews efficiently to address outages and emergencies.
- Perform callouts in ARCOS for service restoration, emergencies, and planned overtime.
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to process large data sets and develop action plans.
- Excellent customer service skills with prior experience in a long-term operations analyst role.
- Prior dispatch experience in environments such as 911 operations centers or utilities operations centers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Must pass NERC & FERC background investigation.
