Looking for a property role where the projects you work on have a genuine long-term impact?
We’re looking for an experienced Property Executive to join a strategic property team responsible for securing and developing the land and property needed to support major investment and regional development across Ireland.
This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional property or asset management and work on strategically important land and property projects, with the stability, structured progression and long-term focus that comes with a career in the public sector.
The opportunity
You’ll take an active role in identifying, assessing and acquiring land and buildings, managing opportunities from initial assessment and due diligence through negotiation and completion.
Your work will include:
- Identifying potential land and property acquisition opportunities and assessing their development potential.
- Managing due diligence across planning, legal title, valuation, environmental, utilities, infrastructure and access.
- Negotiating Heads of Terms, purchase agreements, options, leases and licences.
- Preparing business cases, financial appraisals and recommendations for senior decision-makers.
- Managing external specialists including solicitors, engineers, planners, valuers, surveyors and environmental consultants.
- Working with landowners, developers, local authorities, State agencies and other key stakeholders.
- Managing project budgets, timelines, risks, procurement and governance.
Why consider the move?
This is a particularly attractive opportunity for someone coming from commercial property, development surveying, land acquisition, valuation or property development who wants to apply their expertise to projects with a wider purpose.
You’ll also gain exposure to complex, large-scale property projects where decisions aren't simply about the performance of an individual asset — they're about creating the property and infrastructure needed to support future investment and regional economic development.
What we're looking for
You’ll ideally bring experience from property acquisitions, commercial property, development, surveying, valuation or strategic property management, alongside strong commercial judgement and the confidence to negotiate with senior stakeholders.
A relevant Level 8 third-level qualification, property-related experience and a full driving licence are essential. The role also requires some national travel.
Interested in using your property experience on projects with long-term national and regional impact? Apply now with your CV, all applications will be dealt with in confidence.
