My client is a Investment Banking boutique consultancy that is tasked with helping to build Foreign Exchange (FX) transaction capabilities on a state-of-the-art payment processing platform to power their banking client's global expansion. Their team focuses on delivering mission-critical systems that provide end-to-end visibility into payment lifecycles for technical, operations, reporting and product teams.
Key Focus Areas:
- Global FX Engine: Engineering high-availability, scalable microservices for cross-border payments.
- Lifecycle Visibility: Building centralized tracking tools so cross-functional teams can monitor transactions end-to-end.
- Cross-Functional Impact: Partnering directly with tech, ops, and product to build deep domain expertise and align with business goals.
- AI-Driven Velocity: Incorporating AI tools to enhance code quality, maintain architectural standards, and speed up delivery.
Project Tech Stack:
Languages & Frameworks: Java 17+, Spring Boot
Data & Persistence: Oracle SQL, Document Store DBs
Containerization & CI/CD: Kubernetes, Jenkins
AI Productivity: GitHub Copilot
Ideal candidate:
- Prior experience leading code reviews and mentoring junior team members
- Prior experience creating AI agents to boost productivity (a strong plus)
- Strong problem solver
- Strong technologist, technology agnostic
- Strong consulting/communication skills
