Account specific roles & responsibilities:
- Verify patient insurance coverage and process insurance claims efficiently
- Handle claims concerns, including follow-ups, corrections, and resolutions
- Create, submit, and track insurance claims and appeals
- Communicate with insurance providers, residents/patients, and relevant departments regarding billing and claims issues
- Prepare and manage medical billing functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Maintain up-to-date records of claims, billing activities, and insurance information
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies
Requirements
- 6 months - 1 year BPO experience in a US Healthcare account
- Good working knowledge with Medical Billing (Claims, Benefits, Appeals)
- Excellent verbal & written English skills
- Ability to display empathy and patience in addressing customer concerns
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Adaptability to a changing work environment
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency in using computer systems & relevant software
- Willing to work onsite in Makati
- Amenable working night shift
