Master Data Manager | Agentic AI & Product Data | Bavaria (Hybrid)
AI Futures has been exclusively retained to hire a Master Data Manager to lead the development and rollout of a centralized, AI-driven product data operating model across multiple markets.
This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Master Data, Data, AI or Transformation professional to build a environment where AI agents automate standardized product-data activities at scale while people focus on governance, quality and exceptions.
Hybrid: Minimum 1 day per week onsite in Bavaria
Remuneration: Up to €120k total package
The Role
- Lead the program from target design and pilot through implementation and international rollout
- Define the product data operating model, data models, processes, ownership and governance
- Drive the Agentic AI roadmap and automation of standardized product-data activities
- Establish human oversight, exception management, data quality standards and KPIs
- Functionally lead cross-functional teams across Business, Data & AI, Technology, GBS and country organizations
- Own the business case, roadmap, governance and value tracking
- Ensure alignment with PIM, AI platforms and the wider data ecosystem
- Manage milestones, budget, dependencies, risks and senior stakeholder communication
The Candidate
- Several years' experience leading Master Data, Data, AI or Transformation programs
- Strong background in Product Data, MDM, PIM or data-intensive processes
- Understanding of Agentic AI, AI automation and human-in-the-loop governance
- Experience defining data models, processes, ownership, governance and data-quality frameworks
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional and international teams
- Strong program, stakeholder and external-partner management skills
- Commercial mindset with experience in business cases and value realization
- Structured, pragmatic and outcome-oriented
- Retail, e-commerce or marketplace experience advantageous
- Languages: English (German a bonus)
