What you will do
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of real-time data processing pipelines.
- Build scalable and fault-tolerant streaming applications using Spark Structured Streaming, AWS Flink, and Apache Kafka.
- Define technical standards, best practices, coding guidelines, and development methodologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and engineering teams.
- Optimize streaming applications for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Drive solution design reviews, code reviews, and production-readiness assessments.
- Mentor and guide development teams across onshore and offshore locations.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical leadership during critical incidents.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Make architecture and technology decisions for enterprise-scale streaming platforms.
What we are looking for
- 10+ years of overall software/data engineering experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with real-time streaming and distributed data processing.
- Strong experience with Apache Spark Structured Streaming, AWS Flink, and Kafka.
- Strong programming experience in Python or Java.
- Experience designing highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant streaming systems.
- Excellent communication, technical leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Bachelor's degree.
