The Department
CAA Brand Consulting is a strategy-led, full-service marketing agency with expertise in Cultural and Consumer Insights, Data and Analytics, Talent/Influencer and Property Partnership Advisory, Experiential, Social Impact, Creative Services, and Content and Digital Strategy. These integrated capabilities come together to offer solutions from planning through execution, and we pull in a collective perspective of expertise with each client brief to ensure we are tapping into diverse thinking and building strategies reflective of the marketplace and culture we work within.
The Role
The CAA Brand Consulting Account Executive will support a leading financial services client as an integrated member of the client account team. The Account Executive will help manage the day-to-day strategy, planning, and activation of marquee partnerships across college athletics programs and a sports league, with the potential to support music festival partnerships. The candidate will interface regularly with the client and collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, rights holders, vendors, agencies, and other external partners to deliver programs that build awareness, deepen audience engagement, and support measurable business objectives.
Essential Functions:
- Provide day-to-day support for the client’s partnership portfolio, including college athletics programs, a sports league, and potential music festival properties.
- Maintain integrated project plans, activation calendars, budgets, status reports, and partnership asset trackers across multiple properties and markets.
- Support the planning and execution of contractual assets, promotions, experiential programs, hospitality, talent, content, community initiatives, and other property-specific activations.
- Coordinate with rights holders, teams, venues, festival operators, vendors, talent representatives, and agencies to confirm deliverables, approvals, production requirements, and on-site logistics.
- Support the creative development of marketing materials, digital content, experiential assets, and event-related creative, including collaboration with designers and management of internal and client approvals.
- Partner with CAA Data & Analytics to support measurement frameworks, proof-of-performance reporting, recap materials, and optimization recommendations.
- Work closely with Creative, Experiential, Strategy, Insights, and other account functions to ensure programs align with the client’s brand, audience, and business objectives.
- Develop presentations, meeting materials, agendas, notes, and executive-ready recaps for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor timelines, identify risks and dependencies, and proactively recommend solutions to keep multiple concurrent workstreams moving forward.
- Support on-site execution at games, events, hospitality programs, and potential music festivals, including occasional travel and work outside standard business hours.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or similar discipline.
- 1-2+ years’ experience in sports, entertainment, or experiential marketing within a consulting environment, agency, rights holder, or brand.
- Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple properties, markets, and workstreams simultaneously.
- Experience supporting sponsorship activations, experiential programs, hospitality, talent, content, or event execution.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to work across client, property, and agency stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Slack, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, as well as Google Workspace.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to think quickly, exercise sound judgment, and remain composed in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Ability to balance and advance multiple projects and project components on tight timelines.
- Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to travel and attend games, events, and activations outside normal business hours, as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Agency or brand consulting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of college athletics, baseball, and live music or festival partnerships.
- Experience working with financial services brands or within a regulated category.
- Experience supporting multi-market or national sponsorship platforms, including community-based activations.
- Familiarity with partnership measurement, proof-of-performance reporting, and post-event recaps.
Location
This role will be located in our New York or Los Angeles office. The Brand Consulting department offers a flexible work schedule and requires a minimum of three days per week on-site.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $67,000 - $75,000 for New York and $70,000 - $75,000 for Los Angeles. This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based on, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
