Job Title: Manufacturing Operator 2
Location: Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085
Pay Rate: $22–$25/hour
Assignment: 12+ months
Shift
- Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
- Additional 4 hours during the week to complete 40 hours/week
- Weekend day shift supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation
Education
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSED required
Experience
- Hiring Manager prefers 2–3 years of manufacturing/production experience
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, laboratory, or industrial environment is preferred
Job Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations of a continuous manufacturing line
- Maintain continuous operation of the manufacturing process
- Verify quality and integrity of materials and equipment
- Identify equipment malfunctions and take corrective action when approved
- Perform in-process analytical testing and basic interpretation according to work instructions
- Support managers, supervisors, chemists, and other manufacturing team members
- Follow safety, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of manufacturing areas and equipment
- Assist Maintenance with equipment/facility operations and upkeep
- Communicate effectively with manufacturing staff and other departments
Required Skills
- Manufacturing/production operations experience
- Mechanical aptitude

- Ability to read and understand written procedures/protocols

- Ability to identify and respond to process problems
- Good verbal and written communication
- Ability to operate hand tools, lab equipment, calculators, and weighing/measuring devices
- Forklift or hand pallet truck experience preferred; training will be provided
- Basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
Physical & Work Environment
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Pre-employment physical required
- Visual acuity exam required
- PPE is required and provided by the site
- May work around chemicals including:
- Nitrocellulose in IPA
- Acetone
- Butanol
- Ethanol
- Must comply with applicable FDA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, DOT, and other regulatory requirements
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a dependable Manufacturing/Production Operator with 2–3+ years of hands-on experience, strong safety awareness, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a continuous manufacturing environment.
