Title: Palantir Foundry Application Systems Engineer
Location: Rosemead, CA (Tue & Wed-onsite)
Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $70/hr on W2 (All Inclusive)
Duration: 12+ Months
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Grid Resiliency portfolio and manage PSPS applications in Palantir Foundry.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize reusable Python/TypeScript code, data pipelines, ETL processes, and Foundry applications.
- Design and maintain ontology, pipeline architecture, dashboards, automations, and integrations.
- Provide application support, enhancements, defect resolution, deployments, and operational maintenance.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and third-party teams to ensure reliable application performance.
- Maintain documentation, governance, operational processes, and compliance with PSPS/CPUC standards.
- Optimize application performance, resource utilization, and overall Foundry architecture.
- Support Agile/DevOps delivery and participate in on-call production support.
Required Skills
- Strong software engineering and full-stack development experience.
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
- Experience with Palantir Foundry, data pipelines, ETL, and application development.
- Knowledge of ontology design, pipeline architecture, and distributed data platforms.
- Experience with application support, root cause analysis, and incident management.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PySpark, Polars, Foundry Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, and Data Connections.
- Knowledge of data lineage, object-based data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Utility or Grid Resiliency domain experience is a plus.
