Role Description The Crew Member role is a part-time, on-site position located in Naperville, IL. Crew Members prepare and serve beverages, follow standardized recipes, and ensure product quality and presentation. Daily tasks include taking customer orders, handling payments, operating the POS system, and explaining menu items and customization options. Crew Members maintain a clean and organized workspace, restock supplies, and adhere to food safety and sanitation standards. The role also involves working collaboratively with teammates, assisting with opening and closing procedures, and providing courteous, efficient service to every guest.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service, hospitality, and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Basic food and beverage preparation abilities, including following recipes, managing drink customization, and maintaining quality standards.
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems, handling cash and card transactions accurately, and managing orders in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to cleanliness and safety, including adherence to food safety guidelines, hygiene standards, and store procedures.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Prior experience in retail, café, or food service is helpful but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
