Assignment Description:
The TMS Application & Configuration Manager will be responsible for owning the functional configuration and day-to-day application management of the Transport Management System. This role encompasses configuration ownership, managing change requests, supporting rollouts, and providing operational support. The consultant will work closely with various stakeholders and serve as the primary point of contact for application-related tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage functional configuration and application integration of the Transport Management System.
- Oversee change requests and coordinate enhancements through to testing and go-live.
- Support the rollout of the system across different countries and business units.
- Act as the main liaison with the technology and operational teams.
- Ensure maintenance of the Group template while adapting to local needs.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Transport Management Systems.
- Ability to manage multi-country business applications.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, and supply chain processes.
- Experience in configuring workflows and managing data structures in enterprise applications.
- Proficient analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CarLo/Soloplan is preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL, EDI/API integrations.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Other Details:
This position is fully remote and offers a minimum project duration of 6 months, with the possibility of a 12-month extension. The consultant will engage in extensive direct interaction with various Business Owners to facilitate coordination and optimize application performance.
