Traveling Construction Superintendent

About the Company
We are working with a growing Texas-based General Contractor specializing in restaurant and retail construction, with a strong portfolio across both Quick-Service Restaurants (QSR) and fine dining.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Traveling Superintendent to their team.
The Role
The Traveling Superintendent will oversee construction projects from mobilization through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
- Coordinate ground-up construction, remodels, and restaurant rollouts
- Maintain project schedules and ensure key milestones are achieved
- Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, architects, and subcontractors
- Monitor quality, safety, and site compliance
- Review plans, drawings, and project specifications
- Lead site meetings and coordinate project activities
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly and efficiently
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite
Project Experience

- Restaurant rollouts
- Restaurant remodels and renovations
- Projects ranging from smaller renovations through $10M+
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
- Strong commercial construction background
- Experience with restaurant and/or retail construction
- Ground-up construction experience preferred
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong understanding of scheduling, quality control, and jobsite safety
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly
- Strong communication and leadership skills
