Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Analyst to support transportation, distribution, inventory, and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will analyze logistics data, monitor operational performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze logistics and transportation data to identify trends and operational improvements.
- Monitor shipments, delivery schedules, transportation costs, and service levels.
- Track key logistics performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports.
- Assist with transportation planning, routing, and scheduling activities.
- Analyze inventory movement and distribution requirements.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate logistics records and databases.
- Investigate shipment delays, discrepancies, and operational issues.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and logistics planning activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to analyze large amounts of information and present findings clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP, TMS, or warehouse management systems.
- Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of transportation management and inventory planning.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
