What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior AI Engineer (LLM & Generative AI) / Senior LLM Scientist, you'll lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale AI solutions, collaborating with AI Consultants, Data Scientists, and Engineers to build production-ready LLM applications.
You'll be responsible for:
✅ Designing and developing enterprise LLM and Generative AI solutions
✅ Building RAG and AI Agent architectures
✅ Prompt Engineering and LLM optimisation
✅ Deploying production-ready AI applications using commercial LLM APIs
✅ Designing scalable LLMOps environments
✅ Leading technical projects and mentoring junior team members
✅ Working directly with clients to deliver innovative AI solutions
Projects You'll Work On
You'll have the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects including:
• Enterprise Generative AI platforms for leading Japanese banks
• Secure private LLM deployments
• AI governance and Guardrail frameworks
• Intelligent document automation
• Enterprise knowledge management using RAG
• Modernising legacy systems with Generative AI
We're Looking For
You will ideally have:
✔ Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs)
✔ Hands-on experience with Generative AI applications
✔ Strong Python development skills
✔ Experience with Prompt Engineering, Fine-tuning, and LLMOps
✔ Experience deploying AI solutions into production
✔ Technical leadership or project leadership experience
✔ Business-level Japanese communication skills
✔ Professional English proficiency
Experience with cloud AI platforms, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or financial services is highly desirable.
