Role Overview
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will serve as a scientific expert and field-based medical representative, responsible for high-quality, non-promotional scientific engagement with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), researchers, and investigators. The role will support the execution of the Medical Affairs strategy across India through scientific exchange, medical education, evidence generation, insight gathering, and cross-functional collaboration, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs, HCPs, researchers, and academic institutions.
- Provide accurate, balanced, and evidence-based scientific information and respond to medical inquiries.
- Support advisory boards, investigator meetings, scientific conferences, and clinical research activities.
- Deliver scientific presentations, training programs, webinars, and educational initiatives.
- Support medical review of promotional and non-promotional materials for scientific accuracy and compliance.
- Gather and communicate actionable medical insights from KOL and HCP interactions.
- Support RWE, Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS), and other evidence-generation initiatives.
- Contribute to Medical Affairs strategy, brand planning, launches, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining separation between scientific and promotional activities.
- Maintain CRM documentation and ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
Key Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences: MBBS / BDS / MDS.
- 2–4 years of experience in Medical Affairs, MSL, clinical research, or a related scientific role.
- Experience in Medical Affairs / Medico-Marketing is preferred.
- Prior experience in Pharma, Biotech, or MedTech will be an advantage.
- Strong scientific knowledge with the ability to understand and interpret clinical data.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable with virtual scientific engagement, webinars, CRM tools, and digital platforms.
- Strong ethical standards and a compliance-focused mindset.
- Willingness to travel approximately 40–50% across India, with around 10–12 days of field work per month. Remaining working days will be based out of the Noida Head Office.
