Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain UI, API and end-to-end automation frameworks and test cases.

- Develop automation using Java, Appium, TestNG and Cucumber.

- Perform functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing across STB, Fire TV and connected devices.

- Validate firmware releases, upgrades/downgrades and device-level functionality.

- Use ADB for device control, application installation, log collection and troubleshooting.

- Perform API testing and automation using Postman, RestAssured or similar tools.

- Analyze application/device logs using Kibana/ELK and troubleshoot network issues using Charles Proxy.

- Perform manual testing, defect reporting and bug triaging using Jira, Zephyr and Xray.

- Contribute to Git/GitLab-based development workflows and CI/CD automation using Jenkins.

- Explore and implement GenAI, LLM and AI-powered testing solutions to improve QA efficiency and productivity.

Required Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience in Java, Appium, TestNG and Cucumber.

- Good knowledge of API testing, REST APIs, Postman and JSON.

- Strong hands-on experience with ADB and Android-based devices.

- Experience with Set-Top Boxes, Android TV, Fire TV, OTT or connected devices.

- Understanding of firmware testing and device-level troubleshooting.

- Experience with Git/GitLab and defect/test management using Jira.

- Good analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work effectively in an Agile, cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Kibana/ELK, Charles Proxy and Firebase/Crashlytics.

- Experience with RestAssured, Newman, Jenkins and CI/CD.

- Knowledge of OTT/IPTV/streaming technologies and basic networking concepts.

- Experience with Python or Shell scripting.

- Knowledge or hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents or AI-driven QA solutions.

- Experience in the telecom, IPTV, OTT or digital entertainment industry.
