Corporate Associate | Boston, MA
A growing corporate law practice is seeking a Junior Corporate Associate with approximately 2-6 years of experience to join its Boston team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants exposure to sophisticated M&A, corporate finance, private equity, venture capital, and emerging company work while maintaining a sustainable work environment.
The Role:
- Advise clients on M&A transactions and corporate finance matters
- Support private equity and venture capital transactions
- Work with startups and life sciences companies throughout various stages of growth
- Assist with board governance, commercial contracts, and executive employment matters
- Interface directly with clients and take meaningful ownership of matters
- Handle sophisticated corporate work without the traditional high-pressure billable-hour environment
Ideal Candidate:
- Corporate law experience
- Experience with M&A and/or corporate finance
- Exposure to private equity, venture capital, emerging companies, or life sciences is a plus
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in developing client relationships
- Comfortable working collaboratively while taking ownership of assignments
