General Responsibilities of Service Team include, but not limited to the following:
- Provide timely reporting and escalation of operational issues to designated Client contacts
- Provide incident, event, and problem management support, including:
- Coordinating information flow during M&E‑related incidents
- Providing regular incident status updates
- Reviewing incident reports and preparing periodic trend summaries
- Tracking post‑incident actions and remediation items to closure
- Provide cost and contract support services, including:
- Supporting preparation of operating budgets related to M&E services
- Reviewing vendor invoices for scope and contractual alignment
- Provide change management support services, ensuring M&E‑related changes follow agreed change processes, with appropriate documentation and reporting
- Vendor management support services, including coordination with third‑party service providers to:
- Monitor compliance with Health & Safety requirements
- Monitor performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs
- Support oversight of vendor‑generated documentation, including works method statements, risk assessments, and permit‑to‑work submissions
- Provide oversight and coordination support for routine and ad‑hoc M&E maintenance activities within the data centers, ensuring risks are identified, mitigated, and appropriately communicated
- Support monitoring and reporting of data center energy consumption and utilization, based on information provided by colocation facility operators
- Support data center environments with M&E infrastructure such as UPS, generators, cooling, and power distribution
- Coordinate within IT‑enabled infrastructure environments
Desired Service Team Capabilities
- Demonstrated experience delivering M&E engineering services in mission‑critical or data center environments
- Capability to support services within regulated or financial services environments
- Familiarity with structured service management practices (e.g. incident, change, and problem management)
