Job Description
The Digital Transformation Analyst is accountable to helping define and execute the company’s end-to-end automation strategy, assisting with ensuring that digitalization directly supports product innovation, revenue growth, and customer experience outcomes. This partners with the VP of Strategy and Operations to bridge strategy and execution; helps create transformation objectives, goals and ROI from the automation of those processes, working closely with business and engineering stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Strategy & Ownership
- Define and own the key components of company’s ongoing digital transformation strategy, including process gaps, business outcomes and technology roadmaps
- Align these automation initiatives with business priorities, including revenue growth, product development, and market expansion
- Establish clear prioritization frameworks to guide AI/automation investments and trade-offs
Workflow Optimization & Systems Integration & Operationalization
- Partner with Revenue, Data Operations and Quality Assurance (QA) to define key areas of manual workloads, and redundancy, with the objective of freeing up time and increasing value add
- Define requirements for the optimized workflows to support this transformation, including agentic processes and human-in-the-loop design systems
- Build and deploy new workflows and multi-agent strategies, including coordination across IT/Engineering, QA, and Revenue teams
- Act as a forward deployment engineer to deliver results followed by possible product enablement at the back end whether for internal or external clients
- Perform due diligence on third party systems and internal systems dependencies, including partnering with new systems better suited for the overall objectives
- Focus on low-code, no-code and middleware integration systems that ensure rapid time to market and minimal dependence on internal Engineering teams on the Product side
- Launch each process with appropriate training, support and measurement methodologies to ensure rapid adoption by those teams
Analytics, Impact & Decision Support
- Quantify and communicate the business impact of automation/AI initiatives, including:
- Cost-benefit and ROI analysis
- Revenue growth impact
- Client satisfaction
- Establish and own metrics associated for a period after launch while ensuring those teams and leaders own those metrics for the long term
- Support executive decision-making through clear, data-driven insights
Artificial Intelligence Adoption
- Working alongside your team in Operations, Champion the adoption of automation and AI across the organization
- Ensure responsible use of AI with appropriate governance, transparency, and data integrity
- Where applicable, support the development of scalable workflows (e.g., agentic tools, n8n) being led by other parts of the organization (QA and Revenue) to improve efficiency and speed to production
- Assist with production enablement of beta initiatives or experiments working closely between the business and engineering
- Report to the C-suite on regular progress being made across initiatives and the hard impact to the organization
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in engineering build and deployment, business operations, strategic planning, or project management, preferably in a software, analytics or technology business.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, Computer Science, or Math (required).
- MS and/or MBA (Preferred, especially with an Analytics track).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing projects from start to finish, including budgeting, planning, and execution.
- Ability to think strategically, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with financial and payment information, financial risk management, and supply chain risk management is a plus.
- Ability to combine an understanding of technology functions like IT, QA, and Data with soft functions like Sales and Marketing to support the improvement of customer experience.
- A natural curiosity and a "big picture" mentality.
- Strong technical background and familiarity with AI centric technologies (including Anthropic, Cursor, ChatGPT), integration platforms (like Workato, Boomi) and workflow tools (like n8n, Langflow, Stack) as well as SQL, and Python, project management software and deployment of other low code tools in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI.
