FLORAL DESIGNER / FLORAL SPECIALIST & EVENTS COORDINATOR
Location: Abu Dhabi
Position: Full-Time
Salary: AED 6,000–10,000 per month, depending on experience and profile
Schedule: 6 days per week | 1 day off
We are seeking an experienced, creative, and highly organised Floral Designer / Specialist who also has strong Events Coordination experience to join our Events Team in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will take the lead on floral design, event styling, décor, and event execution while coordinating events from concept through to completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
◼️ Plan, coordinate, and execute weddings, corporate events, private functions, and exhibitions.
◼️ Manage events from the initial concept through planning, setup, execution, and dismantling.
◼️ Develop creative floral concepts based on the event theme, season, venue, and client brief.
◼️ Design and create floral arrangements, bouquets, centrepieces, arches, backdrops, and large-scale floral installations.
◼️ Meet with clients, understand their requirements, present creative concepts, and prepare proposals and quotations.
◼️ Lead, coordinate, and brief floral and event teams during preparation and event execution.
◼️ Coordinate with venues, caterers, suppliers, decorators, and external service providers.
◼️ Source flowers, décor materials, equipment, and other event supplies while negotiating competitive pricing.
◼️ Prepare and manage event budgets, control costs, monitor expenses, and minimise wastage.
◼️ Ensure the quality, freshness, presentation, and safety of all floral and décor elements.
◼️ Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest professional standards.
REQUIREMENTS
◼️ Minimum 4–5 years of proven experience in event management, floral design, wedding décor, or a similar role.
◼️ Strong knowledge of flowers, seasonality, care, preservation, handling, and current floral styling trends.
◼️ Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Floral Design, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
◼️GCC experience is an advantage.
◼️ Strong creative and practical floral design skills.
◼️ Excellent client management and communication skills.
◼️ Strong leadership, organisation, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
◼️ Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
◼️ Previous experience with VIP events, luxury hotels, private events, or high-profile clients is an advantage.
◼️ A portfolio of previous floral and event work is required.
