The VIP Family in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Sous Chef to join their Culinary Team.
Preferred: Candidates based outside the UAE
Salary: AED 15,000 per month plus separate studio accommodation
The family is particularly interested in candidates with a strong international culinary background who are currently based outside the UAE/GCC and have no previous GCC experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations
* Prepare and cook high-quality refined cuisine
* Execute menus to exceptional standards of taste and presentation
* Assist with menu preparation and customized meals
* Support and supervise kitchen staff when required
* Maintain excellent food quality, hygiene, and sanitation standards
* Assist with private dinners, special occasions, and VVIP guest requirements
* Monitor ingredient quality, freshness, and stock levels
* Ensure proper food storage and handling
* Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and family preferences
* Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen
* Maintain complete confidentiality and follow VVIP household protocols
REQUIREMENTS
* Candidates currently based outside the UAE/GCC preferred
* Candidates with no previous GCC experience preferred
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or similar senior culinary position
* Strong background in five-star hotels, fine dining, luxury restaurants, or private households
* Strong knowledge of international and refined cuisine
* Excellent cooking, plating, and presentation skills
* Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
* Professional, discreet, flexible, and well-presented
* Ability to work in a high-standard private household environment
* Private household or royal household experience is highly advantageous
