Meta's Regulatory Compliance Programs (RCP) is the central engine driving risk management and compliance at the company, supporting Meta and the family of apps. We're seeking experienced GRC, Trust & Safety, or Security professionals to help enable and safeguard Meta's products and services, which have a truly global scale, by upholding existing Content Regulation requirements and meeting emergent compliance obligations. Regulatory Compliance is responsible for (a) enabling the business to achieve its goals at scale and pace; (b) safeguarding the business against real world security risks; and (c) addressing the regulatory scrutiny the business faces. Our goal is to make Meta the premier place to work for governance, risk, compliance, and Integrity professionals.As a Program Manager on the Compliance & Assurance team, you will support critical compliance capabilities including New Product Compliance for AI and product launches, accelerated mitigations for new obligations, and integrated reporting to drive decision-making. You will partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Policy teams to embed compliance evaluations into product lifecycles and enable risk-reducing measures.The ideal candidate has experience working in ambiguous environments, defining problem spaces as they evolve, and driving alignment across technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
Program Manager, Compliance Assurance Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of Meta's Compliance & Assurance Programs priorities, including New Product Compliance, Compliance Effectiveness, and cross-functional initiatives

Partner with Product teams to enable risk-reducing measures including integrated monitoring, reporting, and oversight

Embed compliance evaluations into early-stage product lifecycles, enabling early mitigation and accelerated product launches

Leverage AI tools to scale compliance effectiveness, delivering monitoring, oversight artifacts, and continuous improvement recommendations

Maintain an in-depth understanding of the broad regulatory landscape impacting Meta across Integrity, Youth, Privacy, and Security, with the ability to translate changes into actionable program work

Prepare compliance materials and support engagement with Leaders, Committees, Regulators, and external auditors

Communicate complex and technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences (Engineering, Product, Legal) to enable cross-functional alignment and decisions

Identify critical gaps and risks in strategy, product, or positions, and propose mitigations to resolve them

Support AI risk assessment capabilities by executing methodologies, tiering, and operational protocols for predicate, model, and rapid assessments in collaboration with AI Infra, Product, and Legal

Drive cross-domain alignment across Privacy, Integrity, Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit to implement oversight models

Track program metrics, manage deliverables, and support AI and automation initiatives to scale assessment capacity
Minimum Qualifications:
-
6+ years of experience in security, technology risk, GRC, trust & safety, or a related discipline
-
Experience partnering with Product, Infrastructure, or Engineering organizations on tech risk or compliance programs

Experience delivering assurance or reporting against external regulatory or certification regimes (e.g., EU/Global regulatory frameworks, SOC 2, HIPAA, FDA, US Government requirements)

Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders and time-sensitive deliverables

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

Knowledge of global content regulations, content moderation, and trust & safety best practices

Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)

Advanced degree and/or relevant professional certifications

Experience working in regulated industries or security

Experience working in Tech, and using AI tools to improve workflows, strengthen controls, and enable compliance
