About the Company
Uma Polymers Limited is a leading manufacturer in the packaging industry, committed to delivering quality, innovation, and operational excellence. We are looking for a detail-oriented Manager level role to join our Finance & Accounts team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Accounts, and other financial reports.
Generate, analyze, and present MIS reports, financial dashboards, and business performance reports for senior management.
Handle Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger scrutiny, and Bank Reconciliation Statements.
Monitor and reconcile branch expenses and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
Assist in statutory audit, internal audit, tax audit, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, and internal stakeholders for finance-related matters.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement financial controls for operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Desired Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting, Finalization of Accounts, and MIS Reporting.
Working knowledge of SAP ERP is preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
5+ years of post-qualification experience in Accounts & Finance.
Experience in manufacturing related industries is essential.
