Position Overview
Webologix INC is seeking an Entry-Level Java Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable software applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java programming, object-oriented programming, data structures, databases, REST APIs, and software development practices. This role is suitable for recent Master's graduates and early-career professionals who are interested in building enterprise-level applications and developing their expertise in modern Java technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain Java-based software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable Java code.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Work with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and related Java technologies.
- Implement application functionality based on technical requirements and specifications.
- Design and develop reusable software components and services.
- Work with relational databases and develop efficient SQL queries.
- Integrate applications with internal and external APIs and services.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
- Write unit tests and participate in integration and functional testing.
- Use Git-based version control and follow branching and pull-request workflows.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with QA engineers, software engineers, business analysts, and other technical stakeholders.
- Assist with application deployment and troubleshooting in cloud environments.
- Contribute to technical documentation and development standards.
- Continuously learn and apply new Java frameworks, tools, and software engineering practices.

Qualifications
