Senior Full Stack Developer

Location: Frisco, Texas

Employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Introduction

Stelvio are working with a client developing innovative technology solutions

They are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their team in Frisco, Texas. This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll design, build, and enhance high-performance software applications while also providing technical guidance across the development team.

You’ll work across front-end and back-end technologies, contribute to cloud-based architectures, and collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and engineering stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable software.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and services across the full stack.

- Build intuitive front-end experiences using modern frameworks alongside robust back-end services.

- Turn business and product requirements into well-designed technical solutions.

- Contribute to architecture discussions and longer-term technical roadmaps.

- Develop APIs, integrations, and data workflows connecting systems and platforms.

- Ensure applications are built with performance, scalability, security, and maintainability in mind.

- Investigate complex production issues, carry out root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.

- Produce and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and implementation plans.

- Lead through hands-on development, strong coding standards, and engineering best practices.

- Mentor developers through code reviews, technical support, and knowledge sharing.

- Help drive the adoption of modern development tools, frameworks, and architectural approaches.

- Work with architects and engineering leaders to maintain technical standards.

- Partner with Product Management, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders throughout delivery.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical planning, project estimation, and delivery forecasting.

- Support deployments and the ongoing operation of applications across development, test, and production environments.

- Help define and track measures around system reliability, application performance, and software quality.

Qualifications

You’ll bring:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on full stack development.

- Experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-scale web applications.

- Strong front-end development skills using technologies such as React, Angular, Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

- Strong back-end development experience with technologies such as .NET, C#, Java, Node.js, or comparable enterprise frameworks.

- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including data modelling and query optimisation.

- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, application security, cybersecurity, or data privacy would be beneficial.

Experience within SaaS, transportation technology, intelligent mobility, or enterprise software environments, as well as previous experience mentoring developers or contributing to technical leadership initiatives, would also be advantageous.
