A major investment firm is looking for an Analytics Engineer to take real ownership of the data models and analytics foundations supporting financial planning, reporting and investment decision-making. This is an opportunity to join a small, high-impact team where you’ll have genuine influence over how the firm structures, understands and uses its financial and investment data.
You’ll lead the transformation of complex, fragmented data into trusted and scalable analytical models covering FP&A, forecasting, loans, real estate and wider investment portfolios. Rather than simply maintaining existing reports, you’ll help build new capabilities from the ground up, modernise the existing warehouse and shape the firm’s move towards a unified Microsoft Fabric architecture.
You'll bring excellent SQL, data modelling and data warehousing experience, alongside a strong understanding of FP&A within asset management or investments. Azure, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric or dbt experience would be valuable, but the key requirement is someone comfortable taking ownership, working directly with senior finance and investment stakeholders, and turning complex business challenges into robust data solutions.
