The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME – M1) to join an established float and wheel charter operation based in Red Lake, Ontario. The company operates a diverse fleet including King Air 200s, Cessna Caravans on wheels and amphibious floats, as well as De Havilland Otters and Beavers on floats, serving customers throughout Ontario and Manitoba.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced M1-licensed mechanic looking for a rotational position with company-provided travel, accommodations, and a comprehensive benefits package.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and servicing across a diverse fleet.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical issues while maintaining a high standard of safety and reliability.
- Complete maintenance documentation and tracking in accordance with applicable regulations and company procedures.
- Support the maintenance of King Air 200, C208 Caravan, DHC-3 Otter, and DHC-2 Beaver aircraft.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure aircraft remain safe, serviceable, and operational.
- Utilize WinAir Tracking software to maintain accurate maintenance records, where applicable.
- Participate in required training and courses to maintain and enhance technical qualifications.
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
- Valid M1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Previous PT6 engine experience is required.
- Strong aircraft troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with King Air 200, C208 Caravan, and/or DHC-3 aircraft is considered an asset.
- Experience using WinAir Tracking software is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work effectively within a rotational schedule.
Compensation Range: $38–$46 per hour
- 14 days on / 14 days off rotational schedule with lodging and food.
