The Opportunity:
Our client in Maryland has partnered with ML6 in their search for a motivated and relationship-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage the full recruitment lifecycle and help attract exceptional talent across the organization.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with hiring managers to understand their talent needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and create a positive candidate experience from initial outreach through offer and onboarding. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, proactively sourcing talent, and managing multiple searches in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening, interviews, offer coordination, and candidate communications.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment and sourcing strategies.
- Proactively identify and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn, social media, job boards, networking, campus recruitment initiatives, cold calling, and other sourcing channels.
- Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidates' experience, qualifications, career motivations, and overall alignment with the opportunity.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams while ensuring a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure recruitment activities are properly documented.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs.
- Support offer negotiations and coordinate employment documentation while ensuring alignment with internal policies and applicable employment regulations.
- Conduct or coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks and E-Verify.
- Support new hire onboarding activities, including orientation, documentation, HRIS data entry, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Develop strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal teams to ensure an efficient and collaborative recruitment process.
- Stay current on recruitment trends, sourcing strategies, employment practices, and talent market conditions.
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
- Proven experience in Recruitment or Talent Acquisition, with experience managing multiple searches throughout the full recruitment lifecycle within the Manufacturing Industry.
- Experience with technical, professional, executive, or campus recruitment is considered an asset.
- Strong candidate sourcing skills with the ability to proactively identify and engage passive talent.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Lever, Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms such as PeopleSoft, UltiPro, Paycom, or comparable systems is considered an asset.
- Experience conducting candidate interviews and assessing qualifications using structured interviewing techniques.
- Experience coordinating onboarding, background checks, and E-Verify requirements.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and applicable employment and hiring regulations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with candidates and stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and recruitment processes simultaneously.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach and comfort with outbound sourcing techniques such as cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
- Bachelor’s degree is considered an asset but is not required.
Compensation Range: $65,000 - $75,000
