KGS Technology Group is looking for a motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals who want to build their expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Capital Expenditure (CapEx), financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and an interest in understanding how financial decisions impact business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with CapEx budgeting, forecasting, and actuals tracking for capital and maintenance projects.
- Support financial analysis including ROI, NPV, and Payback Period calculations.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial and capital expenditure reports.
- Track project spending and identify budget variances and trends.
- Support the FP&A team with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Assist in developing and maintaining financial models for business and investment decisions.
- Support lease vs. buy and other business case analyses.
- Assist with financial analysis for projects such as facility expansion, automation, technology investments, and operational improvements.
- Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and other business teams to gather and analyze financial information.
- Help prepare financial presentations and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Use Excel and financial systems to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop an understanding of key operational and financial business drivers.
- Perform other finance and analytical responsibilities as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Financial Analysis, Accounting, or a related area.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of financial modeling and financial analysis.
- Understanding of financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, ROI, NPV, and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with large amounts of financial data and present findings clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn financial systems such as Oracle or other ERP platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Internship or academic project experience in FP&A, financial modeling, corporate finance, or investment analysis.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP or other financial/ERP systems.
- Knowledge of advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and basic financial modeling.
- Exposure to Power BI or other business intelligence tools is a plus.
- CPA coursework or certification progress is a plus.
