Consultant - Infrastructure Delivery Consultant
London | Hybrid – 3 days onsite

VIQU has partnered with an organisation operating in a complex, regulated technology environment seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Consultant to manage the successful deployment of infrastructure and technology change.
The position will coordinate delivery across infrastructure, platform and application teams, ensuring changes are delivered against agreed outcomes, scope, time, cost and quality.
Key Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Delivery Consultant
• Own end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and technology change
• Coordinate platform owners, engineers, cloud operations and application teams
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and delivery commitments
• Translate platform requirements into clear infrastructure deliverables
• Manage technical dependencies across infrastructure, applications and platforms
• Plan complex integration, service design, launch and cutover activity
• Coordinate IT suppliers and associated delivery plans
• Manage budgets, forecasts, costs, benefits and resource requirements
• Embed security, governance and compliance requirements into delivery
• Champion appropriate Agile and DevOps delivery practices
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes and collaboration
• Define and track delivery KPIs and provide reporting to leadership
Key Requirements of the Infrastructure Delivery Consultant
• Strong end-to-end infrastructure or technology project delivery experience
• Broad knowledge of networks, firewalls, servers, operating systems, middleware, messaging, databases, security and cloud
• Experience managing complex integration, service design and cutover planning
• Strong risk, issue and dependency management capability
• Supplier and commercial management experience
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial management experience
• Strong governance, quality assurance and reporting skills
• Experience leading delivery across multiple technical teams and stakeholders
• Confidence influencing and negotiating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding of the systems development lifecycle
• Experience applying appropriate delivery methodologies, including Agile or DevOps approaches
This Infrastructure Delivery Consultant role requires someone who can combine strong infrastructure knowledge with delivery ownership, stakeholder leadership and the ability to resolve complex cross-team dependencies.
