We are seeking a dynamic IT Recruiter to join our Canada-based talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate will specialize in sourcing, engaging, and hiring top technology professionals across diverse domains such as software development, cloud computing, data engineering, cybersecurity, and emerging tech. This role requires strong stakeholder management, market knowledge, and the ability to deliver high-quality hires in a competitive landscape.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian IT job market trends and immigration/work permit processes.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and role expectations.
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, and referrals.
- Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for technical and cultural fit.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: requisition intake, sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified IT talent for current and future needs.
- Provide market insights and salary benchmarking to guide hiring decisions.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian employment laws and company policies.
- Represent the employer brand positively in all candidate interactions.
