Role Description: As a Machine Learning Engineer at CurioNext, you will design, develop, train, and deploy machine learning models, with a focus on robust performance in real-world environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into scalable algorithms, conduct experiments, and optimize models. Daily tasks include data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training and evaluation, and integrating ML pipelines into production systems. You will also contribute to improving sensor fusion techniques, monitoring model performance in the field, and documenting technical approaches and findings. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Algorithms, with the ability to design efficient, scalable solutions.
- Proficiency in Pattern Recognition and Statistics to analyze complex biometric and behavioral data.
- Hands-on experience with Neural Networks, including training, tuning, and deploying models for edge or embedded devices.
- Comfort with modern machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and programming in Python or similar languages.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience with edge AI, sensor data processing, or embedded systems is highly beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, communicate technical concepts clearly, and work on-site in Chennai.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS) and MLOps practices for model versioning, monitoring, and deployment is a plus.
