We are partnering with a leading consulting organisation to engage an experienced Project Manager – Asset Management. This opportunity will suit a confident, client-facing Project Manager with extensive experience delivering complex COTS package implementations and enterprise asset management projects.
About the Role
You will lead the delivery of key workstreams across an enterprise asset management implementation. Working closely with client stakeholders and multidisciplinary delivery teams, you will coordinate project activities, manage dependencies and risks, drive integrated planning, and maintain a strong focus on successful client outcomes.
The role requires a hands-on Project Manager who can quickly establish credibility, provide clear leadership and support the successful delivery of a complex implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities across key project deliverables.
- Lead project management activities and integrated planning with client stakeholders.
- Manage project dependencies, risks and mitigation strategies.
- Build and maintain strong peer-to-peer client relationships.
- Support configuration and implementation activities associated with Maximo projects.
- Lead project teams or squads to achieve agreed delivery outcomes.
- Produce and contribute to clear, high-quality project documentation.
- Resolve delivery issues through effective analysis, problem-solving and conflict resolution.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 7+ years’ project management experience delivering asset management or complex enterprise implementation projects.
- Deep project management expertise within consulting and COTS package implementation environments.
- Strong client-facing consulting experience, rather than IT infrastructure project delivery.
- Demonstrated knowledge of package implementation methodologies.
- Experience using requirements management and storyboard tools to support execution and collaboration.
- Strong understanding of Agile methods and delivery techniques.
- Proven experience leading teams or delivery squads.
- Ability to assess complex project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.
Highly Desirable
- Experience implementing IBM Maximo, Enterprise Asset Management or Maximo Application Suite solutions.
- Industry experience across oil and gas, transportation, energy or utilities.
- Experience managing DevOps practices within Maximo implementation environments.
