An exciting AI opportunity with a leading global insurance organisation with a strong reputation for innovation, technical excellence and delivering complex solutions at scale.
As part of a major investment in AI, they are establishing a new specialist AI engineering team focused on identifying opportunities to automate and transform business processes through intelligent, production-ready AI solutions.
This is a chance to join at the beginning of that journey, working within a small, tight-knit team of highly specialised engineers where everyone brings a different skill set and plays a meaningful role in shaping the technology.
They are looking for a Senior AI Engineer who wants to take ownership and have a genuine influence on how AI is designed, built and deployed across the organisation.

What You’ll Do
- Design and build scalable foundations for AI agents and ML-powered systems.
- Shape the architecture and evolution of the organisation's AI and agent platform.
- Build and evolve MCP and A2A capabilities across the AI estate.
- Develop production-grade AI solutions that can integrate with existing enterprise systems.
- Modernise the technology estate by bringing greenfield agentic technology together with established enterprise platforms.
- Take ownership of technical decisions and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
Key Requirements
- AWS or Azure cloud experience.
- Strong Python backend engineering experience.
- 2+ years' experience in AI Engineering, with hands-on experience building Agentic AI and/or MCP-based solutions.
