Role Description The Interior Site Supervisor/Project Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves overseeing day-to-day site activities, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring that interior works such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, gypsum, and finishing are executed according to design specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities include monitoring project timelines, managing site resources and labor, conducting regular site inspections, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company procedures. The role also requires tracking progress against project plans, resolving on-ground issues, and maintaining clear communication with clients, consultants, and the internal design and management teams. The Interior Site Supervisor/Project Manager contributes to delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining high workmanship standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong project and site management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
- Candidates should possess technical knowledge of interior works such as carpentry, gypsum and partition systems, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, painting, polishing, and related civil work.
- Candidates should possess abilities in reading and interpreting architectural and MEP drawings, understanding specifications, and ensuring quality control at site.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and coordination skills to work with clients, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary internal teams.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving, decision-making, and time-management skills to handle on-site challenges and meet project deadlines.
- Relevant experience in interior contracting or fit-out projects, particularly in commercial or corporate environments, is highly beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, along with familiarity with basic project management tools and MS Office.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices, compliance with local regulations, and willingness to travel to different project sites within Mumbai as needed will be advantageous.
