Bachelor's degree in journalism, English or a related field

- Excellent project and time management and communication skills - (3-5+ years)

- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage the work accordingly

Job Overview

The Client Editorial team is looking for an experienced editor to work within its SEO/GEO content program. The ideal candidate will have experience and expertise in writing, editing and/or publishing on personal finance topics, including the credit scoring system in the U.S., money management, banking and credit card and loan education. You’ll need high editorial standards, experience with AP or other styles, and an eagle eye for detail. You’ll work closely with an Editorial team that includes content strategists, subject matter experts and quality specialists, as well as freelance writers.

Duties

- Produce and edit personal-finance content for traditional and AI search, maintaining best practices

- Apply Credit Karma Editorial style and standards to content

- Maintain uncompromising standards for accuracy and research integrity, producing content that meets high operational and editorial rigor

- Collaborate closely with stakeholders within content marketing and across distributed offices and time zones

- Must have an understanding of the credit scoring system, banking, credit cards and loans and be comfortable creating content in a highly regulated industry

- Must also have experience working independently to manage owned projects and tasks
