Mechanical Engineer/Product and Component Design Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and release of innovative mechanical products and systems. This is a hands-on role that works closely with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to bring designs from concept through production.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 6+ years of mechanical or product design experience
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software
- Experience creating engineering drawings and applying GD&T
- Strong understanding of mechanical design, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and solve complex technical issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- CNC machining or advanced manufacturing experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems
- Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, performance, and manufacturability
- Lead and participate in design reviews
- Develop and support product testing and validation activities
- Manage engineering changes and product improvements
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support production as needed
- Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and performance requirements
