Established (30+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Commercial Litigation & Defense Litigation in Dallas, TX!
An established firm based in Dallas with over 28 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-7+ years of experience to join their team hybrid. This Attorney will focus on commercial litigation, general liability, insurance defense, and defense litigation, handling construction defect, contract dispute, commercial landlord defense, and trucking defense matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters.
Offer:
Salary range: $140,000-$180,000+, contingent on experience
Performance based billing bonuses
Additional discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance

Qualifications:
Active license to practice law in Texas
3 to 7+ years of litigation experience with flexibility up to 9 years considered
Good to strong litigation experience with deposition experience preferred
Excellent legal writing and discovery experience
Experience in commercial litigation general liability insurance defense or defense litigation
Ability to manage a demanding caseload and meet monthly billing expectations
Strong communication and client interaction skills
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of construction defect contract dispute commercial litigation commercial landlord defense and trucking defense matters
Draft and respond to discovery requests with precision and thoroughness
Take and defend depositions as needed
Prepare legal briefs motions and other litigation documents
Communicate directly with clients on case status and strategy
Meet a minimum of 165 billable hours per month
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation
