Job Description:
- Design and develop end-to-end enterprise integration solutions using Software AG webMethods.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
- Develop and maintain Flow Services, Java Services, and Adapter Services.
- Work extensively with webMethods Integration Server (IS).
- Develop integrations using JDBC, SAP, MQ, JMS, HTTP/HTTPS, REST, and SOAP adapters.
- Design and implement REST APIs and SOAP Web Services.
- Configure and manage APIs using webMethods API Gateway.
- Implement API security including OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, SSL/TLS, and WS-Security.
- Develop complex mappings and transformations using XML, JSON, XSLT, and Flat File schemas.
- Implement B2B/EDI integrations using webMethods Trading Networks.
- Work with X12, EDIFACT, AS2, SFTP, RosettaNet, and custom flat-file formats.
- Configure Trading Networks partner profiles, document types, routing rules, and processing rules.
- Implement enterprise integration patterns such as Request/Response, Publish/Subscribe, Asynchronous Messaging, and Guaranteed Delivery.
- Design and maintain Canonical Data Models (CDM) and reusable integration frameworks.
- Develop highly available and scalable integrations across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Integration Server services, threads, sessions, JVM resources, and adapter connection pools.
- Perform performance tuning of Flow/Java services and messaging infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Universal Messaging/Broker/JMS for throughput, latency, and reliability.
- Manage webMethods environments across DEV, QA, UAT, and PROD.
- Support clustering, load balancing, high availability, and disaster recovery configurations.
- Perform deployments using webMethods Deployer and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Support fix packs, patches, hotfixes, and webMethods version upgrades.
- Work with MWS, Optimize, API Gateway, and Command Central for administration and monitoring.
- Configure monitoring and alerting using Optimize, Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics, or similar tools.
- Troubleshoot production issues including integration failures, connectivity issues, transaction rollbacks, and performance bottlenecks.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Integrate webMethods with cloud/SaaS platforms such as AWS, Azure, Salesforce, SAP Cloud, Workday, and ServiceNow.
- Work with webMethods.io and iPaaS solutions for cloud and SaaS integrations.
- Support microservices and containerized integration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and Git.
- Follow coding standards, integration best practices, security standards, and documentation guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, DBAs, Infrastructure, Security, Middleware, and Application teams.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to onshore/offshore teams.
- Prepare technical documentation including solution designs, interface specifications, deployment documents, and support procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Software AG webMethods.
- Strong experience with webMethods Integration Server.
- Good knowledge of Flow Services and Java Services.
- Experience with Trading Networks and B2B/EDI integrations.
- Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, XSLT, and web services.
- Experience with JDBC, SAP, MQ, JMS, HTTP/S adapters.
- Hands-on experience with API Gateway.
- Knowledge of Universal Messaging/Broker and JMS.
- Experience with webMethods Deployer, MWS, Optimize, and Command Central.
- Good understanding of integration patterns and enterprise integration architecture.
- Experience in performance tuning and production troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS, API Keys, and WS-Security.
- Experience with cloud and hybrid integration.

Experience
- 5–10+ years of experience in enterprise application integration.
- Strong hands-on experience in Software AG webMethods development and support.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise integration environments is preferred.
- Experience with webMethods 9.x/10.x or later is preferred.
