AWS-focused DevOps/Platform Engineer with strong Terraform, distributed tracing, and observability expertise, solid CI/CD experience, and preferably exposure to AI/LLM observability, model monitoring, and AI governance.
DevOps Engineer:
- Role is heavily focused on AWS, approximately 80% of the work.
- Remaining ~20% is CI/CD, automation, and delivery pipeline related.
- Terraform is mandatory, strong hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code experience is expected. The JD specifically requires AWS cloud engineering and infrastructure-as-code experience.
- Strong understanding of distributed tracing is important. Candidate should be able to explain how traces are implemented and used to troubleshoot applications/services across distributed environments.
- Observability is a key area. Relevant tools include CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.
- Should have solid experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, platform automation, environment provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and operational processes.
- Strong production operations and reliability mindset, incident management, root-cause analysis, production readiness, resiliency, and operational best practices are relevant.
- Experience with containers, APIs, distributed systems, scripting, and modern software delivery practices is valuable.
- AI/LLM exposure is a plus: Experience with AI governance, model monitoring, and agent/LLM observability is specifically called out as preferred.
- Candidate should ideally be comfortable supporting both traditional applications and emerging AI-enabled solutions.
- Overall, the role supports observability, governance, compliance, and AI oversight in addition to core DevOps responsibilities.
