We’re Hiring! Ready to revolutionize the retail checkout experience?

Ever wonder what goes into making the checkout process frictionless across a massive retail network? We are looking for a dynamic Executive (Retail Systems – Cash Management) to drive the front-end technology and cash operations that keep our stores running seamlessly!

In this role, you won’t just be managing processes—you’ll be a key player in designing checkout strategies, optimizing systems, and leveraging data to enhance store efficiency across the board. If you love bridging the gap between operational challenges and tech-driven solutions, this is for you.

Key Responsibilities

- Cash Management Planning & Analysis — Support the review and optimisation of cash handling, cash float, sales reconciliation and cash-room processes across the retail network, using operational and system data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.

- Cash Float Planning — Support cash float planning and optimisation, including requirements for new and renovated stores, working with Finance, Retail Operations and external service providers.

- Cash Management Governance & Compliance — Support the development and maintenance of cash-management policies, control frameworks, SOPs and compliance requirements in partnership with Retail Operations, Finance, Audit and other relevant stakeholders.

- Process & System Design — Analyse existing cash-management and reconciliation workflows, identify operational gaps and work with relevant stakeholders to develop scalable process and technology improvements.

- Business Requirements — Support requirements gathering and translate operational needs, business rules and exception scenarios into clearly documented functional requirements for solution partners/stakeholders.

- Training Framework & Knowledge Materials — Develop training frameworks, reference materials, scenario-based guides and supporting documentation for cash-management processes. Partner with relevant training stakeholders for frontline delivery, reinforcement and store-level competency development.

- Project & UAT Support — Coordinate, support and execute User Acceptance Testing, including test scenario development, defect tracking, documentation and business readiness assessment.

- Implementation — Support implementation planning and operational readiness for new solutions, ensuring requirements, risks, procedures and supporting materials are properly prepared and handed over to the relevant stakeholders before deployment.

- Post-Implementation Review — Analyse recurring issues, operational trends and user feedback following implementation to identify systemic improvement opportunities.

- Data Analytics & Continuous Improvement — Use data to identify recurring cash-management trends, control weaknesses, operational risks and improvement opportunities, and evaluate project outcomes against agreed business objectives.

Job Requirement

- Experience in retail operations, retail systems, cash management, payments or operational process improvement would be advantageous.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with an interest in understanding how operational processes interact with system behaviour and financial outcomes.

- Able to translate operational scenarios and business requirements into structured documentation and system/process requirements.

- Comfortable working with data and identifying patterns, exceptions and root causes.

- Knowledge or experience in project implementation, business analysis and UAT would be advantageous.

- Able to work independently across multiple stakeholders and communicate clearly with both operational and technical teams.

- Strong attention to detail while maintaining an understanding of broader business outcomes.

- Curious, adaptable and willing to challenge existing processes constructively.

- Comfortable working with ambiguity and complex operational scenarios.

If you are ready to challenge existing processes and make a tangible impact on the frontline of retail, we want to hear from you.
